1. Who is responsible

iNeedIT, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is the data controller for the information you leave through this website.

2. What data and why

The contact form collects only what is needed to answer your question and, where relevant, to put a proposal together.

Legal basis: the processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and for the legitimate interest of preventing misuse of the form (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. No confidential data through this form

The form sends ordinary email and is not encrypted end to end. Please do not send passwords, keys, access credentials or special categories of personal data through it. We exchange that kind of information over a channel meant for it, and are happy to tell you which. If we do receive it, we delete it as soon as we can.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, no advertising networks, no social media buttons, no external fonts, no embedded video and no other third-party services. Everything your browser loads comes from i-needit.com itself. No visitor profile is built, and technically there is nothing to ask consent for.

You can change your choice with the ‘Change cookie choice’ button at the bottom of every page, or by clearing this site's storage in your browser. Should the site later use statistics or another third-party service, that will only happen with your consent and this overview will be updated.

5. Who the data is shared with

Your message arrives at the hosting provider that runs iNeedIT's website and email; a data processing agreement is in place with that party. Beyond that, data is not shared, sold or transferred, unless a legal obligation requires it. No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.

6. How long it is kept

• Messages that do not lead to an assignment: twelve months at most.
• Messages that do lead to an assignment: part of the accounts, seven years under Dutch tax retention rules.
• Server logs: per the hosting provider's policy, usually a few months.

7. Security

The website is reachable over HTTPS only. The form has a hidden field against automated submissions and strips line breaks from the input, so the mail server cannot be misused as a relay. Access to the mailbox receiving the messages is limited to the people answering the questions.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction, the right to data portability, and the right to object to the processing. Send a message to info@i-needit.com and you will have an answer within four weeks. If you disagree with how it is handled, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

9. Data within assignments

This policy covers the website. Where an assignment involves processing personal data from your systems — during development, maintenance or hosting, for example — we act as a processor, solely on your instructions and under a separate data processing agreement covering security, sub-processors, breach notification, and return or deletion afterwards.

10. Changes

If the way the website works changes, this policy is updated. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
